What started well over a year ago here in this tiny town in northern California, is finally finished. Unfortunately we can not predict the future, but nontheless, we are happy to be here. The old, "Country Cookin" restaurant has been a long project and we've reopened the doors as, The Drifters Table.
The Drifters Table, is open at 4PM Friday, Saturday & Sunday.
Our Phase I was a soft opening and a promotion, "A Whole Pie & a Bottle of Wine", and we hope we didn't confuse you with the idea of us opening up as a Pie Shop! It was a little idea to create talk, quietly open our business and fill your bellies at the same time. While we can't make a living on giving away pie and wine (it was super cheap), we can finally enter into Phase II.
The menu will change weekly and yes, we will have desserts on the menu, including pie (by the slice).
Phase II; Opening with strict guide lines and making YOU, the customer feel safe and comfortable.
We will not be opening in the capacity we had planned, but we are open. Customers are asked to bring a mask and use it when they are not eating. Hand sanitizer and Clorox wipes are provided near the doors. Our staff will follow safety measures at all times.
Each week our menu will change and posted here on our website. For now, our hours are Friday, Saturday and Sunday opening at 4PM. Calling in your order ahead of time will give us the opportunity to keep the flow of customers at a minimum and not have you waiting for food. You will have the choice to take your food home or stay and dine. We have fewer tables, so making a reservation is critical.
We also have wine and beer for sale and you can still buy a bottle of wine to take home. A wine list will be printed weekly to offer you a wide variety of prices and varietals. Beer and wine will be available by the glass for in house dining.
Most of our food will be served on disposables until we feel it is safe to switch over to china and linens.
We want every customer to feel safe and comfortable while dining here or taking food home. It is your decision whether you want to eat out at this time, but we want to ensure the public we are doing everything we can to keep you safe.
Peace and Good Health to you all!
